Announcement of BAM's 2025 Annual Best Reviewers
Published 16 January, 2026
Recently, the highly anticipated BAM Reviewer Reward Program has announced the list of winners for the 2025 Annual Best Reviewers and Outstanding Reviewers.
Over the past year, Bioactive Materials (BAM) received nearly 4,000 new manuscripts and secured 5,550 peer reviews. Constrained by its publication capacity, BAM can only accept a small number of submissions. The editorial decision-making process is highly challenging, as it requires careful selection of papers that maximize benefits to readers and drive advancements in the research field. The specific comments provided by reviewers have played an instrumental role in facilitating these editorial decisions.
Launched in 2024, the BAM Reviewer Reward Program has seen its Annual Outstanding Reviewer selection draw wide attention. Following a rigorous evaluation process, 28 researchers have stood out from their peers. Among them, 11 have been named 2025 Annual Outstanding Reviewers and 17 have been conferred the title of 2025 Annual Distinguished Reviewers.
