BAM Reviewer Program 2026

In 2025, Bioactive Materials received 3,994 new manuscripts and obtained a total of 5,550 peer reviews. Due to publication limitations, we can only accept a small portion of the submitted manuscripts. The decision-making process is arduous as we strive to select articles that will most benefit our readers and progress the research field. Your specific and professional review comments have been of great assistance in the editorial decision - making process. We sincerely appreciate your contributions!
In 2026, BAM will continue and optimize the "Reviewer Program". The details are as follows:
- Qualified Reviewers (5 - 9 qualified reviews/year)：Enjoy a 25% discount on the Article Processing Charge (APC) for BAM articles.
- Distinguished Reviewers (10 - 15 qualified reviews/year)：Receive a 50% discount on the APC for BAM articles.
- Outstanding Reviewers (16 - 20 qualified reviews/year)：Obtain a 100% discount on the APC for BAM articles and be publicly acknowledged in the Bioactive Materials annual reviewer list.
- Annual Best Reviewer：We will select the most outstanding reviewer of the year. The Annual Best Reviewer will enjoy a 100% discount on the APC for BAM articles and receive a $500 cash reward.
