Zhuangde Jiang is an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and a Distinguished Professor at Xi'an Jiaotong University. He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Birmingham (UK). His research focuses on micro/nano manufacturing and precision measurement technologies, with breakthroughs in high-precision sensing design, manufacturing, and packaging for harsh environments (aerospace, petrochemicals, advanced manufacturing). He has led the development of advanced digital measurement equipment and authored over 400 papers with more than 100 patents. He was Vice President of Xi'an Jiaotong University and awarded the Second Class Prize of the National Technological Invention and the Second Class Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award.
