Dear Editorial Board Members, Reviewers, Authors, and Young Editors,

As we approach the advent of the 2024 New Year, I find it pertinent to extend my heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to you for your unwavering dedication and contributions to the academic journal of Deep Resources Engineering throughout the year.

2023 has been a year of significant milestones for our journal. We established our Editorial Board and Editorial Office and held the First Editorial Meeting of Deep Resources Engineering and the Launch Ceremony & 2023 International Symposium on Deep Resources Engineering in Shenyang, China. Upon formal operation of the DRE EM system, we have received 13 submissions, seven of which are peer-review completed.

With the inaugural issue scheduled for release in January 2024, we remain committed to our goal of publishing world-class research. We cannot achieve this without your continued support and contribution. Your expertise and guidance have been invaluable to us, and we look forward to continuing our collaboration in the coming year.

Together, I believe we can make Deep Resources Engineering a world-renowned journal under your continuous help and support. I am confident that our journal will soon achieve this prestigious status.
