Dr. Ma's research interest is focused on theoretical research and technical development on food physical processing, applying modern physical technologies, such as sound, light, electricity, magnetism, force and so on, to food bio-manufacturing (enzymolysis, fermentation, extraction, etc.) and primary processing of agricultural products (sterilization, drying, preservation, etc.).
