Yuzhen Yan is an Associate Professor at the School of Ocean and Earth Science, Tongji University in Shanghai, China. He obtained his PhD from Princeton University in 2019. Dr. Yan’s research centers around paleoclimate reconstructions using polar and non-polar ice cores. Towards that end, he also explores the physical, chemical, and biological processes at the surface, inside, and beneath the ice sheets.
