Central South University (CSU)

Central South University is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of China and a key institution under the national “Double First-Class” initiative as well as the “985 Project” and the “211 Project.” With strong disciplines in Civil Engineering and Transportation Engineering, the University has developed distinctive strengths in high-speed railway construction, bridge, tunnel and railway engineering, disaster prevention and mitigation, rail transit safety, and train operation control. As a sponsoring institution of JRST, Central South University works with scholars and experts from China and abroad to promote technological innovation and academic exchange in the railway field.
