Special Column on “The third Cryosphere Science Youth Forum”

Introduction:

To broaden the research horizons of young scientists of cryospheric science and to explore frontier trends while promoting interdisciplinary integration and innovation, a special column with the theme "Publishing frontier and innovative achievements in cryosphere scientific research and engineering practice to face the major strategic needs of the country" was organized. Young scientists engaged in cryosphere scientific research and engineering practice in the fields of cold region engineering construction, cold region geography and environment, and cold region resource development are warmly invited to contribute to this Special Column. Papers deemed suitable are sent to a minimum of two independent double-blind expert reviewers to assess the scientific quality of the paper. The Editors-in-Chief are responsible for the final decision regarding acceptance or rejection of articles.

  • Cryosphere process, mechanism and simulation
  • Interactions between cryosphere and other spheres
  • Cryosphere and sustainable development
  • Cryosphere engineering and technology
  • Cryosphere disaster and impact
  • Permafrost physics and mechanics

Important Deadlines:

  • Submission deadline: 31 October 2024.
