M.K.S. Al-Mhdawi

M.K.S. Al-Mhdawi is a Senior Lecturer in Project Management at Teesside University, Director of Project Analytics at the Advanced Project Management Research Centre, University of Southampton, and a researcher in Safety Management at Trinity College Dublin. He received his Ph.D. in Risk Management from the University of Southampton and has extensive experience in integrating risk and safety management into core business processes across a range of industries, including oil and gas, construction, manufacturing, and space systems. Dr Al-Mhdawi has secured more than £300,000 in research funding from prominent organisations, including the European Space Agency, the Association for Project Management, and the American University of Sharjah in the UAE. He has published extensively in leading international journals and holds senior editorial roles with several prominent academic journals, including Risk Sciences, the ASCE Journal of Structural Design and Construction Practice, and Frontiers in the Built Environment. His research contributions have earned him recognition among the top 3% of scholars worldwide in the field of Risk Management.
