Jan Willem Wijnen has worked in several roles at major scientific publisher, such as Springer and Brill, most recently as Executive Publisher Chemistry with Elsevier. He has managed large journal portfolios and has worked with editors to develop journals and set editorial policies. He has presented workshops on scientific publishing and academic skills at dozens of universities and scientific institutes, mostly in China. He now works as independent publishing consultant.
