Intelligent Pharmacy is a journal owned by Higher Education Press (https://www.hep.com.cn). It is the official journal of Wu Lien-Teh Medical Foundation, and is co-hosted by the School of Medicine at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. The journal is published by KeAi Communications Co., Ltd.

Founded in May 1954, Higher Education Press Limited Company (HEP), affiliated with the Ministry of Education, is one of the earliest institutions committed to educational publishing after the establishment of P. R. China in 1949. After striving for six decades, HEP has developed into a major comprehensive publisher, with products in various forms and at different levels. Wu Lien-teh (1879-1960) is a Chinese physician born in Malaysia. He was the first Chinese medical student at Cambridge University and the first Chinese-Malaysian nominated for the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 1935. Wu Lien-teh is considered the first person to modernize China's medical services and studies. Wu Lien-teh public foundation was registered in Beijing, 2015, in memory of his contributions. Founded in 1956, the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) isa research-intensive university located in Chengdu, China, which is ranked in the top 100 of the QS University Rankings: BRICS 2016. Originally founded as the Chengdu Institute of Radio Engineering, the university was named one of China's National Key Institutes by the Higher Education Ministry of the State in 1960.
