Research interest is in pathogenic mechanism of neurodegenerative diseases, particularly Parkinson's disease. We focus on roles of mitochondria and lysosomes in cellular quality control and cell survival. The experimental models use in the laboratory include primary cultured cells, Drosophila and mouse. Human genetics is often employed to verify our research findings.
