Advanced Bionics (ABS) is an international peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes original research papers, reviews, letters, editorials, highlights, perspectives, comments and news.

ABS focuses on the study of novel principles and functions observed in biological systems, as well as the application of this knowledge to address real-world scientific challenges.

ABS aims to lead advancements in fundamental bionic research, pushing the boundaries of novel bionic investigations and fostering disruptive technologies within the field. Submissions to the journal are expected to provide fresh insights, possess scientific impact and a high level of quality, as well as contribute to shaping the future of bionic research.

The International Society of Bionic Engineering (ISBE, https://www.isbe-online.org) is an educational, non-profit, non-political organization formed in 2010 to foster the exchange of information on bionic engineering research, development and application.

Founder Countries: The Society is launched by fifteen countries, including China, The United Kingdom, Germany, The United States of America, Russia, Canada, Japan, South Korea, India, Thailand, Austria, Romania, The Netherlands, Belgium, and Brazil.

Mission Statement: The Society is dedicated to the advancement of communication and cooperation among all scholars, and the furtherance of knowledge and education in the field of bionic engineering.

Society Main Activities:
(1) Organizing and developing international science communication and collaborations in bionic engineering, encourages science, and promoting the international development of bionic engineering.
(2) Popularizing knowledge of bionics and its relevant science and technology, spreading the spirit, idea and methods of the science, and extending bionic technology.
(3) Holding international meetings in the field of bionic engineering.
(4) Holding meetings of the Board of Directors.
(5) Publishing Transactions of the Society.
(6) Honoring and encouraging excellent scientists and technologists who make great progress in bionic research and spread activities, and recommending excellent talent.
(7) Accepting opinions, suggestions and requests from the members, maintaining the legal rights of the members, and developing activities serving the members.
