Achievements:
Professor Yang, Chief Physician, doctoral supervisor, Director of the Spine Surgery Department. He has been awarded the national honors of National Leading Scientific and Technological Innovation Talent of the "Ten Thousand Talents Program", National Candidate of the "Hundred, Thousand, and Ten Thousand Talents Project", "Young and Middle-Aged Expert with Outstanding Contributions" and Expert Recipient of the "State Council Special Allowance". As a Final Review Expert for National Mega Projects at the Ministry of Science and Technology and Chief Scientist of the National Key R&D Program, he holds over 30 academic appointments including Standing Committee Member of the Tissue Repair and Regeneration Committee, Standing Committee Member of SICOT China Chapter, Vice Chair of the Youth Committee of the Chinese Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons and Editorial Board Member for Journal of Orthopaedic Translation and Engineered Regeneration. With more than 70 SCI papers as first/corresponding author and 24 authorized patents (13 invention patents including 2 clinical translations), he has presided over 6 NSFC projects (including a Joint Key Program) and 3 National Key R&D Program projects.
