2023 Bioactive Materials Innovation Award Winner: Dr. Sha Huang

It recognizes individuals who have made significant research innovation and achievements in the field of bioactive materials. In 2023, the winner is Dr. Sha Huang from the Key Laboratory of Organ Damage Reconstruction and Regeneration.

Biosketch of the winner:

Sha Huang, the Deputy Director of the Key Laboratory of Organ Damage Reconstruction and Regeneration, a "Zhuoqing" talent and the Chief Scientist of the Basic Strengthening Major Project. She is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of the PLA General Hospital, and is also a Vice Chairman of the Clinical Trial Research Branch of the Chinese Society for Biomaterials, a Vice Chairman of the Biomaterial Clinical Application Branch of the China Research Hospital Association. She has long been engaged in research on skin wound repair and regeneration, and has published more than 70 papers in SCI journals. Her monograph "Biological 3D Printing and Regenerative Medicine" won the Hubei Provincial Government Publishing Award. She has won the first prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award of the Chinese Society for Biomaterials, et al, and her technology was selected for the "Leading Technology" list of Sci-Tech Innovation China in 2021. She has transferred authorized patents and has undertaken 16 research projects in China.
