ENCECO Youth Talent Program: Supporting Emerging Leaders in Environmental Chemistry and Ecotoxicology

To support the continued development of Environmental Chemistry and Ecotoxicology (ENCECO), the journal is launching its Youth Talent Program. The initiative aims to bring together outstanding early career researchers in environmental chemistry and ecotoxicology, foster collaboration and knowledge exchange with leading international experts, and cultivate the next generation of editorial talent to help shape the journal's future.
Eligibility
(1) Doctoral degree.
(2) Good academic ethics, strong communication skills, and an international academic perspective.
(3) Long-term research focus in environmental chemistry and/or ecotoxicology, or closely related interdisciplinary fields.
(4) Track record of first authorship or corresponding authorship in high-level journals in the field, or leadership in significant research projects.

Obligations
(1) Topic planning: Monitor academic trends and real‑world issues, provide suggestions for special topic planning, and identify frontier and hot‑topic areas.
(2) Journal promotion: Actively promote the journal through academic social networks, personal platforms, and academic events to attract high‑quality submissions and broaden readership.
(3) Participation in academic activities: Assist or participate in online/offline academic conferences, roundtable forums, author workshops, and other events organized by the journal.
(4) Advice and feedback: Provide constructive suggestions for journal improvement.

Journal Introduction
Environmental Chemistry and Ecotoxicology (ENCECO) publishes studies on environmental chemistry (distribution, dynamics and fate) of pollutants, together with biologic and toxic effects of man-made chemical pollutants on ecotoxicological animal models and plants.
