Lianhai Wu

Recent years, Dr. Lianhai Wu?s main research focuses on 1) sustaining agricultural production while mitigating adverse environmental impacts in the critical zone, 2) improving nitrogen use efficiency globally, 3) exploring sustainability, biodiversity, and resilience of agricultural systems, 4) sustainable intensification for net zero and resilient farming, 5) assessing the impacts of climate change on ecosystems, and 6) maintaining and further developing the SPACSYS model to quantify carbon, nitrogen and phosphorous cycling and water movement in the soil-plant-atmosphere continuum.
