Special Issue: Effect of bioactive ingredients from edible medicinal plants

A wide range of edible plant extracts, derivatives and analogues are now used to regulate health. However, further investigation of these plants remains important to determine active components, mechanisms, safety and efficacy, and to reduce toxicity and side effects.
This special issue focuses on highlighting the beneficial role of edible medicinal plants in regulating health, and on promoting research into the use of these plants in health food, medicine and other fields.
