Special Issue on Flow Assurance Technology Congress 2026 (FATC 2026)

Introduction:
The Flow Assurance Technology Congress 2026 (FATC 2026) will be held on 4–6 November 2026 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. As the official journal partner, the Journal of Pipeline Science and Engineering (JPSE) will launch a Virtual Special Issue (VSI) to share outstanding research findings discussed at the conference, together with those relevant to the field regardless of conference participation.
Theme & Scope:
This special issue aligns with the core topics of FATC 2026 and welcomes high-quality manuscripts covering (but not limited to) the following areas:
- CO₂ Transportation and GHG Reduction
- Oil Field Chemistry and Fluid Characterization
- Flow Assurance Management
- Flow Technologies and Digital Solutions
Important Deadlines:
- Submission deadline: 31 December 2026
Submission Process:
- Papers to be submitted for the submission process in the Journal will be previously selected by the Congress technical committee and will then proceed to the submission and review process of JPSE.
- Submit via JPSE's online submission system: https://www.editorialmanager.com/jpse
- When submitting a manuscript, please make sure to select the article type "VSI: FATC 2026" in the system.
- Manuscripts must strictly adhere to the Guide for Authors of JPSE, available on the journal's homepage: https://www.keaipublishing.com/en/journals/journal-of-pipeline-science-and-engineering/guide-for-authors
- Papers must be original, unpublished, not under review elsewhere, and must have been selected for the congress and chosen for submission to JPSE.
- All submissions will undergo a normal peer-review process. If the manuscript is accepted, the article will be published open access with no fee payable by the author.
