Amadeu K. Sum

Amadeu Sum is Professor in the Chemical & Biological Engineering Department at the Colorado School of Mines (Mines) and leads the Phases to Flow Laboratory, which focus on gas hydrates and multiphase flow applied to oil and gas flow assurance. He has been working with gas hydrate research for over 25 years covering experimental, theoretical, and simulation topics. He is author/co-author of over 230 peer-reviewed publications, a book on hydrates in flow assurance, and creator of two inventions. He works closely with industry, including many JIPs and DeepStar.
