Xiaoben Liu, associate professor and doctoral supervisor, serves as Chairman/Secretary-General of the Youth Working Committee of the Petroleum Storage and Transportation Professional Committee of the Chinese Petroleum Society and Chairman of the China Youth Pipeline Association. He has long been engaged in teaching and scientific research on the intrinsic safety and integrity evaluation of oil and gas storage and transportation facilities. He has successively presided over 6 national/provincial-level vertical projects and more than 50 enterprise scientific research projects. As the first/corresponding author, he has published over 100 papers, including more than 50 in top-tier or important international journals in the field.
