Zhechao Wang is a Professor at Northeastern University. He serves as Director of Liaoning Provincial Engineering Research Center for Underground Oil & Gas Storage and President of CSRME Rock Engineering Design Methodology Sub-Society. His research interests focus on theories and key technologies for underground oil & gas storage and CO2 geological sequestration. He has published over 130 peer-reviewed papers, authored 3 monographs, formulated over 10 national, industrial, and group standards, obtained over 20 invention patents, and won 3 first prizes for provincial and ministerial scientific and technological progress. He plays an active role in promoting academic exchanges, platform construction, and talent cultivation in the field of underground storage.
