Yu, Lehua

Professor Yu Lehua graduated from the Third Military Medical University in 1997. He is currently the Director of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, where he serves as Professor, Chief Physician, and Doctoral Supervisor. He is the Academic and Technical Leader in Rehabilitation Medicine and Physiotherapy for Chongqing Municipality. To date, he has supervised over 60 doctoral and master's students, including international master's candidates. He has led more than 10 research projects at the national and provincial/ministerial levels, and has published over 60 academic papers. He has edited or co‑edited 8 monographs. He serves as Associate Editor‑in‑Chief of the national undergraduate textbook Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation (a "12th Five‑Year Plan" textbook for higher education institutions by the Ministry of Health), Associate Editor‑in‑Chief of Burn Rehabilitation Therapy, Associate Editor‑in‑Chief of the integrated textbook Sports System Injury Diseases for the "5+3" medical education programme, Editor‑in‑Chief of the English‑version national planning textbook Rehabilitation Medicine for clinical medicine majors (a "13th Five‑Year Plan" textbook by the National Health and Family Planning Commission and the National Higher Medical Textbook Construction Research Association), and Associate Editor‑in‑Chief of Burn Rehabilitation in the rehabilitation medicine series. He is also an Editorial Board Member of the national training textbook Quality Report on Rehabilitation Medicine (for rehabilitation medicine quality control) and of the Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Medicine. He has received one Third‑Class Award for Military Scientific and Technological Progress and one First‑Class Award for Scientific and Technological Progress of Sichuan Province.
