Special Issue on Embodied Intelligence: Bridging Disciplines Through System Integration
Published 26 May, 2026
The Special Issue "Embodied Intelligence: Bridging Disciplines Through System Integration" highlights recent advances in the design, theory, and application of embodied artificial intelligence systems. We welcome original research, reviews, and highlights that advance the understanding of physical interaction mechanisms, system-level integration, and real-world task execution (e.g., robotic manipulation, locomotion, human-robot collaboration, and multi-agent coordination). Research that involve the use of novel hardware architectures, embodied learning algorithms, simulation-to-real transfer methods, or scalable system demonstrations are especially encouraged. This collection aims to accelerate the translation of interdisciplinary insights into intelligent, robust, and sustainable embodied AI technologies that support strategic national development priorities.
