Lemi Türker is a Professor at the Chemistry Department of Middle East Technical University (METU). He specialized in synthetic organic chemistry and computational chemistry.
Research Interests:
Chemical topology, graph theory and computational chemistry as well as fuel cells, fullerenes, hydrometallurgy and synthetic organic chemistry on the field of 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reactions, pheromones, dyes and pigments and explosives.
Professional Activities and Awards:
Member of editorial board of "Acta Chimica Hungaria" and is already member of "Central European Journal of Energetic Materials" and "Defence Technology" journals. He has published more than 50 articles about explosive materials. He received various appreciation awards including ACS Publications and Scopus-Elsevier (Turkey). He was also the member of the Nobel Committee for Chemistry (2004 and 2010).
