Space solar power science and technology is an interdisciplinary field of energy and aerospace technology. It involves key technologies such as space solar power station system, as well as long-distance and efficient wireless power transmission. There are hundreds of scientific research institutions and universities globally engaged in research in related fields; however, there is a lack of journals with a focus on space solar power science.

To that end, the Journal of Space Solar Power and Wireless Transmission (SSPWT) was launched with the aim to feature the latest scientific and technological achievements in the intersection of energy and aerospace technology, and to serve as a high-level academic exchange platform for experts and scholars.

SSPWT welcomes original high-quality submissions associated with aerospace science and space physics, electrical engineering, laser, machinery, control, materials, microelectronics, optoelectronics, etc.
