Yuxing Li is a professor and doctoral supervisor at China University of Petroleum. His research areas are in oil and gas storage and transportation engineering. He received his PhD degree from China University of Petroleum and conducted postdoctoral research at Shengli Oil Field. He worked as an invited researcher at TULSA TUFPP in USA. His research interests focus on pipeline transportation theory and safety management in oil and gas transmission pipelines. He has been the principal investigator for more than 50 national and provincial projects and over 100 large-scale enterprise projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the National High Technology Research and Development Program of China (863 Program). He has issued 30 Chinese patents, published more than 360 journal articles, given 26 invited conference presentations and edited 6 books. He has also received 20 provincial or ministerial awards.
