Special Issue on Intelligent and Sustainable Internet of Everything

Introduction:

Benefiting from the development of artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things and information and communication technologies, the Internet of Everything (IoE) has substantially transformed. IoE is an ecosystem that unites people, things, data, and processes. However, the current IoE is still in its early stages of development, with two urgent problems to be addressed: (1) Establishing a close connection between people, events, data, and processes, and exploring the deep correlation among them to achieve intelligence. (2) Effectively managing and understanding vast amounts of data to ensure efficiency and sustainability.

In response to the problems, intelligent and sustainable IoE technologies have played an important role in creating real-world solutions. The next generation of IoE is poised to achieve low power consumption, high transmission, accurate feedback, and real-time monitoring.

This special issue combines the perception, prediction, and learning capabilities of artificial intelligence with the design of distribution, power consumption, and transmission mode of the intelligent, together with sustainable IoE. The aim is to promote the development of IoE to address the problems faced by society today.

• Big data management, processing, and feedback technologies in intelligent and sustainable IoE
• The evaluation of data quality in intelligent and sustainable IoE
• Security and privacy issues in intelligent and sustainable IoE
• Blockchain protocols for intelligent and sustainable IoE
