Haoran Zhang is an assistant professor at the School of Urban Planning and Design in Peking University. His research focuses on the application of big data-driven simulation methodologies in urban energy systems. With a background in Engineering and Economics, as well as dual doctorates in Engineering and Socio-cultural Environmental Studies from the University of Tokyo, Haoran has made notable contributions to the field. He has published over 180 papers in reputable journals and has received recognition through various awards, including 2022 John Tiratsoo Award for Young Achievement.
