Strategies and decision making to achieve climate justice and decarbonisation

Published 26 September, 2022

Introduction:

As a result of the climate emergency, long-term planning is required, as well as short-term adaptation; for example, deep structural reforms and transformations, along with innovative public policies, incentives, strategies and prospective decision-making processes focused on climate justice and decarbonisation.

Added to these factors are the quality and assertiveness of governance, which must be guaranteed in customised responses to shocks and/or crises, and the critical importance of decision-makers, agencies and managers responsible for building resilient and sustainable nations, regions and companies at different latitudes, densities and key UN SDG indicators.

This special issue will consider manuscripts that address theoretical and applied conjectures, as well as benchmarks and cases related to strategies and decision-making processes for achieving climate justice and decarbonisation goals, using a multidimensional lens.
