Advancements in Zero Energy Buildings, Sustainable Cities, and Solar Thermal Solutions for a Green Future

Modern grids must adopt the advancements in zero energy buildings and sustainable cities and the solar thermal energy that are expected to replace the traditional electrical grid. Ongoing research on zero energy buildings, sustainable cities, and solar thermal energy aims to enhance the efficiency, reliability, economics, and sustainability of power generation, transmission, and distribution systems. Recent studies focus on overcoming the challenges related to the integration of solar thermal energy, energy management in buildings and cities, demand distribution, load automation and control, and the commercial implementation of these sustainable technologies.
The requirements, challenges and recent technologies for zero energy buildings and sustainable cities and the solar thermal energy enhancements are the main scope of this special issue.
