Dr. Alexander Alekseev is the head of the Department of Forest Inventory, Management and GIS, Saint-Petersburg Forest Technical University. He is a member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences and International Academy of Wood Sciences (IAWS), and an international member of Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture and Forestry.
