HydroResearch is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that features original research papers, short communications, review articles and book reviews in the broader field of hydrology, ecohydrology, hydrobiology, hydrogeochemistry, hydrometeorology, water resources and water environment, including water management and policy issues.

Manuscripts offering new insights on all the subfields of hydrological science at the local, regional or global scales, development of new methods/models, and/or instrumentation and field-based research are welcome.
The journal encourages application of statistical, modelling and remote sensing methods to hydrological sciences and multi-disciplinary and inter-disciplinary research of hydrological problems through integrating with hydrological, ecological, environmental, geological, meteorological, as well as social and economic sciences.

The Wetland Ecology Committee of the Chinese Ecological Society, established on August 25, 1998 in Changchun, is an academic organization for scientific, technological, and educational professionals engaged in wetland ecological research.
Wetland ecology investigates community structures, functions, ecological processes and succession dynamics of wetland systems, as well as their interactions with physicochemical and biological components. The Committee of Wetland Ecology aims to advance academic exchange, promote wetland science development, deliver technical consultation and popularize wetland‑science knowledge. Its experts undertake national wetland surveys, conservation‑restoration assessment tasks, produce over ten policy advisory reports, and carry out key national research projects on wetland restoration and climate‑wetland responses.
The committee hosts influential academic events including the China Wetland Forum, international symposium and Asian wetland conferences. Looking ahead, it will further drive disciplinary innovation, expand domestic and international academic collaboration, which support the development of affiliated journal HydroResaerch.
