Dr. Faisal Khan is a Professor and the Canada Research Chair (Tier I) of Offshore Safety and Risk Engineering. He is the founder of the Centre for Risk Integrity and Safety and Engineering (C-RISE). He is actively involved with multinational oil and gas industries on the issue of safety, risk and asset integrity. He is the recipient of many National and Regional awards. He recently recognized by SPE for his contribution in Health, Safety and Risk Engineering. He is Fellow of many professional societies including the Engineering Institute of Canada, the Canada Academy of Engineering. He has authored over 500 research articles in peer-reviewed journals and conferences on safety, risk and reliability engineering. He has authored eights books on the subject area.
