The Institute of Hydrobiology (IHB) is part of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). It is the only comprehensive academic research institution in China that specialises in the study of life processes of inland aquatic organisms, ecological environment protection and use of biological resources. IHB aims to satisfy the country’s strategic demands for water environment protection, sustainable development of fisheries and microalgal biotechnology. In addition, IHB endeavours to increase and extend the values created by these innovations and breakthroughs.http://ihb.cas.cn
